The 2008 champions RR will take on the 2016 champions SRH in today’s match in Dubai. It is everything to play for RR and a matter of pride for SRH, mathematically SRH still can make it to the top 4, although it would be a miracle if something like this happens.

Match Overview:
RR and SRH have won 7 matches each against each other which shows that their rivalry has been even so far in 14 matches they played against each other. In the first leg match, RR dominated SRH to win the match by 55 runs. RR is placed at 6th position in the points table this year whereas SRH are placed last with 4 and 1 wins respectively.
Rajasthan Royals (RR):
RR has looked like a decent side so far in this year’s IPL. They have won 4 out of the 9 matches they played this year and a win in today’s match would directly place them in the fourth position on the points table. When it comes to their batting there are two exciting youngsters Y Jaiswal & M Lomror in the team, both these players played fantastic knocks against PBKS but failed to perform against Delhi. S Samson, E Lewis and L Livingstone are all dangerous batsmen and should they click in tandem it could be havoc for SRH bowlers. RR also have a decent bowling attack with M Rahman being their spearhead followed by C Sakariya, K Tyagi & R Tewatia. T Shamsi world’s number 1 T-20 bowler failed to penetrate the DC lineup in the previous match but might get another go ahead in today’s match as well.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH):
SRH are going through a horrendous time on the field. They have won only one game out of the 9 games they played. This is their worst performance so far in IPL history, their batsmen have failed to score runs throughout the season. They should have won the match against Punjab after restricting them for 120 odd runs but they couldn’t even chase that meagre total. It is hard to believe that players like D Warner and K Williamson have failed to get going with the bat but when the going gets tough even the stalwarts like them find it difficult to perform. It is time now that J Roy gets a look in before D Warner because it has been an utterly disappointing season for the former SRH captain. Their bowling unit should remain more or less the same because they have performed decently against PBKS in the previous match.
Pitch Conditions and Toss:
The Dubai pitch provides a good contest between bat and ball, initially, it helps the seamers but later on, batsmen can cache in. Overall in the second leg of this season, an average of 151 runs was scored in 8 innings. The average 1st innings score is 160 whereas the average 2nd innings score is 142. Out of the total 4 matches, sides batting first have won 3 matches on this ground in the second leg of IPL 14.

RR vs SRH Dream11 Wicketkeepers:
S Samson would be the first choice batsman from RR so it is a no brainer here that S Samson would be the first choice Wicket-keeper. In the previous match against DC S Samson was the lone performer with the bat. W Saha of SRH scored 31 runs against PBKS(The previous match) but he took 37 deliveries which didn’t help the team’s cause.
RR vs SRH Dream11 Batsman:
Kane Williamson for the incredible player he is and L Livingstone for his destructive batting prowess. Neither of these two batsmen has performed as expected but it’s high time that either of these players clicks. Would have also selected Warner but there is a chance that M Nabi might be given a look before Warner for SRH. E Lewis would be another player which should be considered first because of the form he is if he is selected in the squad. The rest M Pandey, Y Jaiswal, D Miller, M Lomror & A Samad should be selected in the ascending order of priority.
RR vs SRH Dream11 All-Rounders:
Chris Morris didn’t play the previous game for RR but he still remains the first choice all-rounder followed by J Holder. M Nabi and Tewatia to follow them up.
RR vs SRH Dream11 Bowlers:
M Rahman, Rashid Khan would be first choice bowlers followed by C Sakariya, T Shamshi, B Kumar, K Tyagi & S Sharma respectively.
