Expectations were high from Chennai Super Kings before the start of this year's IPL so far they have failed to live up to the expectation.

P Shaw and S Dhawan gave the Dehli Capitals a perfect start. The opening-pair scored 94 runs in 10.3 overs before S Dhawan was dismissed by Chawla. Pant came at number three position and remained not out for 37 runs. The DC captain struggled to score quickly and ultimately got out for 26 runs.
DC came up with a game plan to trouble CSK's opener S Watson, A Patel the left-arm-spinner opened the bowling along with Rabada. Early introduction of Patel worked; Watson got out caught at mid-wicket. Vijay followed Watson soon to the pavilion getting out caught mid-wicket. Apart from Faf du Plessis none of the CSK batsmen got going.

The Little Dynamite, P Shaw was the Man of the Match today.
Captain's Corner
MS Dhoni:
He is batting too low in the batting order often when the match's fate is already predictable. His/CSK's persistence to go with M Vijay despite him struggling to find form looks strange.
S Iyer:
After the fall of P Shaw, he could have promoted M Stoinis to up the ante further.
In the field, the way he shuffled his bowling was masterful.
Stats Corner
A Patel has picked up Watson 6th time in less than ten overs bowled at him.
Overall, a disappointing performance by CSK, they have got some serious issues to look upon. They desperately miss A Rayudu in the team. DC should be happy with their bowling as well as batting performances.
