Squads

Top Players of SRH & RR
SRH:
D Warner: Warner started with small knocks initially, now after six matches, he has two 50's, two 30+ scores and one 20+ score to his name. The way he is going about his business things only look to improve further. Against RR, he has played ten innings; in which he has scored 337 runs at an average of 33.70 and a strike rate of 125.27, his highest score being 77.
S Sharma: He has so far faired decently in the two matches that he has played, he picked up 2 wickets against MI but was expensive, while against KXIP in the previous match he kept things tight gave away only 27 runs but didn't pick up a wicket. RR's top four batsmen are their main strength if he can pick a wicket or two early in the innings RR will go on the back foot immediately.
R Khan: Mere words are not enough to explain how good he has been in the last four matches,12/3 (4 ov) vs KXIP, 22/1 (4 ov) vs MI, 12/0(4 ov) vs CSK & 14/3 (4 ov) vs DC. He is the bowler with the best economy in the history of IPL and arguably the best spinner in the world when it comes to T20 cricket.
M Pandey: He has had a strange IPL season so far. He has consistently got starts although apart from his 51 against KKR, he hasn't converted his starts into big scores. Against KXIP, he made only one run. He needs to improve his consistency with the bat to be more impactful for SRH.
J Bairstow: So far he has been the most impactful batsman for SRH. In the previous match, he played a swashbuckling knock of 97 off 55 balls against KXIP hitting 6 sixes. In six matches this year, he has scored 241 runs at an average of 40.16 and a strike rate of 138.50.
RR:
S Smith: Apart from his heroics in the first two matches of this season he has struggled to get going. In the previous match, he looked set for a big score before he got out against the run of play for the score of 24. Against SRH, he has played 8 innings and scored 249 runs at an average of 35.57 at a strike rate of 113.18. He is the best batsman of his team and hence his return to form is a must for RR to rise again.
J Archer: He has been exceptional with the bowl for RR. In the previous match as well he was their best bowler, he picked up 3 wickets for 24 runs. If he can remove Warner and/or Bairstow early in the innings it would open the match up.
S Samson: Cricket is a very funny sport at times, the man who looked impervious in the first two matches doesn't even look like a shadow of that player in the matches that followed. The match against SRH could be the match where he returns to form because against them he has scored 423 runs at an average of 42.30 at a strike rate of 126.64. This boost in average/strike rate is mainly due to his heroics against SRH last year where he scored 102 not out of 55 balls.
J Buttler: Apart from his innings of 70 against MI he has not been amongst the runs in IPL. He is that sort of a player who if performs can turn the match on its head and RR would hope that he does exactly what he is capable of doing in this match.
Likely Playing 11

Other players who can make an impact
R Tewatia (RR): He was the second-best bowler after J archer against DC in the previous match. He has a good cricketing brain and can be relentless with the ball. He has been economical in the last few matches and could play an interesting role for RR, bowling against the likes of Williamson, Warner & Bairstow. He also scored 38 runs with the bat in this match.
Y Jaiswal (SRH): He stuck around against DC scoring 34 runs and might be chosen again in today's match, SRH doesn't have top quality fast bowlers in their side, if given an opportunity this is the best chance for him to get going unless of course Warner decides to use R Khan in the power play. B Stokes (RR): The return of Stokes in the playing eleven will bolster RR's batting and will give Smith more options with the ball.
K Williamson/ M Nabi (SRH): Either one of the two players should play the game and whichever player plays would make this list of players to watch from SRH.
T Natarajan (SRH): He is silently doing his job for SRH with his consistent bowling, he bowled 11 dot balls against KXIP second to only R Khan in the match. He could play an important role in today's match.
To conclude, SRH looks more formidable and dangerous with the bat as well as the ball and are favourites to win this match. For RR to cause an upset their famed top-order needs to perform in tandem and later in the innings B Stokes can use his firepower to finish with a flourish.
